FTW Events
About Us
FTW Events is a federal 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that hosts premier charity tabletop gaming events in the Seattle area. Founded originally as Dawgsled Events in 2013 by Matt Winberry, we were later reborn as FTW Events and newly incorporated as a non-profit in 2016.
FTW Events’ mission is to channel a love of gaming into events that have a positive impact on our local communities. We have hosted a number of events that have raised thousands for charities such as Meow Cat Rescue (as Dawgsled Events), the Imagine Guild, and Seattle Children’s Hospital. Today, the organization is comprised of a group of friends who all believe that when you're gaming for good, you're gaming For The Win. Thank you for supporting us.
Our Commitment
Our values include a commitment to celebrate and promote diversity and inclusivity in the gaming community. It is our strong belief at FTW Events that games facilitate interaction between people regardless of their differences, including but not limited to age, disability, gender identity, sexual preference, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, religion, and political affiliation. We bring this mindset to every event we put on and in all our actions. FTW Events is committed to providing safe, fun and unique fundraising events. Our doors are open to all, and we look forward to being your gracious host.
Say "Hi" to Rex
You may have seen one of our favorite team members here at FTW Events gracing our pages, marketing materials and social media! He’s green with a big adorable smile. Rex, our beloved mascot, has the important job of telling you all about our latest events. He loves playing and believes gaming should be accessible to everyone, even to dinosaurs who have really short arms and struggle to reach the pieces! Rex is the embodiment of our belief that tabletop gaming can and should be enjoyed by all, and be used to bring people together, and sometimes achieving great things.
